03 — ARCHITECTURE
Built in contrast.
One leather is smooth. One is pebbled. Both are obsidian black — the difference is texture, not colour. The panels are separate planes of leather, laid against each other and divided by a line of metal two millimetres wide.

04 — CRAFT
Full-grain leather,
skived by hand.
Full-grain cow leather at 0.9–1.1 mm, skived to 0.6 mm at the edges. The line between the leathers is set flush: you read it as a line, not as hardware.

Cards, ID and cash —
nothing else.
Left cards, an identity window at the centre, cards at the right, and a full-length cash compartment behind. Nothing else — no coin pocket, no zip, no mechanism.

MATERIALS & CARE
Full-grain cow leather,
finished by hand.
AIVOR ONE is made from full-grain cow leather at 0.9–1.1 mm — the top layer of the hide, where the grain is tightest and the fibres are strongest. It is skived to 0.6 mm at the edges so the bifold closes flat, and the edges are burnished and stitched rather than folded over. Two black leathers are used: a smooth matte calf and a fine pebbled grain, both dyed through to the core so wear reveals leather, not a lighter underside.
Care is minimal. Wipe with a dry cloth, keep it out of standing water, and let the leather take on a patina. No creams are required in the first year.

- No. There is no coin pocket, zip, ejector or hardware — the bifold is leather, lining and a two millimetre metal line.
